The All Stars concert gives our students the opportunity to perform on stage and to demonstrate the skills they have learnt throughout the year. This is a wonderful introduction to performing in costume for an audience, as well as providing performance experience in a fun and friendly atmosphere for all involved. Southern Federation of Dance (SFD) exams are offered to
eligible students in tap, jazz and ballet. Studio D boasts a 100% pass rate
for all exams.
Students in level 4 and above must participate in a ballet technique class
to be eligible for jazz & ballet exams.
Whilst exams are completely optional, it gives our students the opportunity
to work towards a goal, and improve poise and self esteem as a dancer.

Competitions Students have the option of entering intra-school and external competitions around Melbourne, either individually, as a duo or as part of a troupe. The school runs an annual Own Choreography Competition during Term 2 to allow dancers to develop their choreography and performance skills. The date is sto be advised. |
