I’ve been a part of the Studio D family for nearly 10 years now and I can’t imagine where I would be without the support and love received from Studio D. The opportunities Studio D offers are endless and being a part of them opens gateways to greater opportunities. I’ve received the opportunity to dance in the Moomba Parade, in the Dancer Cancer Initiative and to be a part of a performance/competition team. Our teachers accentuate important values in class like respect, persistence, kindness and gaining a growth mindset which also assists in everyday life.
As parents how we see Studio D: excellent office administration, yearly programs are well organised and well communicated to parents, friendly approachable staff. Students have been taught the importance of discipline. Wearing the uniform correctly and neatly is reminded often. The teaching team is friendly, passionate and dedicated of their job, they work hard during exam time and
want every student to achieve good results, win competitions and deliver beautiful Concert dances. Studio D is a safe family environment for children to learn dancing. I recommend Studio D for anybody who enjoys and want to learn dancing.
We started classes at Studio D from a very early age for our daughters Rebecca, Brianna and Megan. They were used be introverted and sensitive children, but after years of learning at Studio D, they became confident and open which has translated to their day school activities. Their progress and achievement are inseparable from Studio D's friendly and professional teaching. Studio D has become an indispensable part of our children's life and study for sure.
My passion for dancing grows everyday and I always look forward to performing at competitions, DCI, concerts and many more fantastic opportunities offered at Studio D. There is a great range of classes to join and to learn new things and extend your dance skills. Dancing has really boosted my confidence by having teachers who are always giving their all to help me improve and friends who are always so encouraging. Studio D is a great big family to me and I love the environment there which makes me feel so comfortable.
I started to dance at Studio D when I was five years old, and back then, and I remember that I was very shy. But over the years, all the teachers and students have been so welcoming, and I quickly developed a confidence that allows me to be involved in the classes and to make friends, and I know that I have made some very close friends over these years. Dancing is probably the only extracurricular activity I love doing, and this is mainly because the environment Studio D provides is so friendly and welcoming. Studio D also provides a lot of opportunities. I was lucky enough that I had the opportunity to go on the Disneyland Tour in 2012, DCI and competitions. I know that I have gained a lot of confidence with the Studio performance group. We dance regularly as a team and everyone tries really hard to achieve the best result possible at competitions.
I am so glad I put my daughters into dance classes at Studio D which provides a great environment for them. With lots of different classes, exams, competitions, Studio D shaped her into the dancers they are today. Thank you to the amazing staff of Studio D for their love, patience, dedication and hard work towards their students. Studio D is a second home to us and I feel it is a place where students can make new friends, experience great opportunities, share a smile. I am so happy to watch my children grow with the love of Studio D.
I would always dance in I was bored and it would always give me joy and happiness. Because of the wonderful teachers and students here at Studio D, my dancing has improved so much. Studio D is such an exciting and enjoyable place to learn how to dance, being involved in competitions, the Disneyland tours, exams, concerts and much more has made me feel like a stronger dancer every class.
Every year, the Studio D All Star Concert is a family festival to us, and our joy was doubled when our daughter Melissa, was announced the winner of the senior scholarship in 2017. We tried at another dance school for a short period of time, and then we found Studio D and searched no more. The welcoming and friendly atmosphere here makes Melissa feel comfortable. She is always keen to attend lessons and see her friends every week. Dancing at Studio D has given Melissa more happiness than anything else. Melissa was encouraged to reach her potential yet never felt much pressure. Dancing on the stage and in front of audiences has gained Melissa a lot of confidence.
Our family has been associated with Studio D for over 15 years. During this time we have seen Studio D mature as a dance studio however it has always maintained the family friendly culture that makes it such a pleasure for the students, teachers and parents to attend. Studio D offers so many varieties of dance and activities that the children have plenty of choices including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and contemporary but also group activities like DCI, performance groups, Moomba and the Grand Prix. The all-star concert at the end of the year is the pinnacle performance of the year and shows how professional and dedicated all the teachers are. These activities have made Studio D a more family friendly community and no doubt has helped our children form long lasting friendships with the other students. We look forward to many more years at Studio D and watching this dance studio grow stronger while maintaining its core values.
I was 5 when I began dancing at Studio D. Everyone was so caring and welcoming that they brought the best out of me. They all helped me become who I am today. I have now been a member of the Studio D family for nearly 10 years. In those 10 years I have created life long memories and strong bonds with my fellow dance friends that I know will last forever. Studio D is a place where I can totally relax and unwind. No one can be as joyful, helpful and as encouraging as the teachers at Studio D. They dedicate so much time in making us the best dancers around. Being involved in the performance class, DCI and student teaching has been very rewarding. This has been topped off by having the opportunity of going to America and performing at Disney, not once but twice.
